Tenerife Times

Last year in June, I spent just under two weeks with friends at Tenerife in the Playa de las Americas area. We stayed at the Bitacora Hotel, which might I add was such a wonderful place to stay and although we didn't do much in the way of sightseeing the island as it was basically a sun holiday, we managed to get to some touristy places.

These are the views from our balcony, We definitely ended up with the best room!

In our two weeks we did visit the monkey park twice, being so close to different primates is truly an experience. You cant help but feel sorry for these monkeys living within the cages though, however they were happy and loved putting on a show and being fed by the visitors.

Warning Cutest Monkey ever Alert!
Being a typical holiday we weren't going to miss out on the chance of going to SIAM PARK, which is a water park. I kid you not, easily the best water park i've ever been to! The slides are amazing and the whole theme of the park itself just makes it an incredible day out.
This is me and my boyfriend below at SIAM PARK.
Below is the main sandy beach in the playa de las americas where both tourists (on the right side of the beach) and locals (on the left side of the beach) go. It is a long stretch of curved sand with the typical shops, restaurants and supermarkets all along the front. Major tourist area.

I would like to go back to Tenerife again some day to be able to go up the Volcano, seen as it is the islands biggest sightseeing spot and we failed to go up there.
I will leave you with this lovely image, until next chums.
